Halloween is coming! (And so are the undead...)

It's the zombie apocalypse!  No, I'm only kidding... but Halloween IS just around the corner.  Last year, my husband and I were super obsessed with the American television series, The Walking Dead on AMC.  I thought it might be fun to make us "undead" for our first Halloween in our new house in a real neighborhood with actual trick-or-treaters!


This look is certainly not like what you see in television and movies, but I don't have access to (or the cash for) fancy cosmetic tools and crazy makeup.  I just used what I have on hand with the help from a small, inexpensive Halloween costume makeup palette.  Here are the results:

My own family didn't recognize me when we sent pictures!  Seriously, they were asking who it was and who'd done the makeup.  (I think they're nuts - it's very obviously me, but it's a nice thought.)  I had posted pictures on Facebook and a ton of people were asking me to do their makeup this year or show them how to do it.  It's seriously so easy and simple... here it is!  (Link jumps to my YouTube channel.)
